ATLANTA — Mayoral candidate Bill Campbell thought a campaign logo similar to Campbell Soup Co.’s red-and-white trademark was a clever way to make his name known.
But he has landed in the soup instead.
“That trademark is priceless to us, and we vigorously protect it,” company spokesman Jim Moran said Friday.
Moran said others who infringe on the trademark have usually stopped when asked. Campbell says he has no plans to change his campaign ads.
