Smoke on Board
We have just returned from a Royal Caribbean cruise line trip that we had hoped would be a delightful cruise aboard the Song of Norway. But while nonsmoking areas were set aside in the dining room and the entertainment lounge, the rest of the ship, including all hallways and lounge areas leading to elevators, were occupied day and night by smokers. When I asked the hotel manager to at least make the hallway leading to and from the dining room a “no smoking” area so that we would not have to run the gauntlet of smoke to get into and out of the dining room, he replied that this was company policy. This company needs to be educated.
