Victoria’s Secret Founder an Apparent Suicide: Roy Raymond, who helped bring lingerie to the masses with Victoria’s Secret retail chain, was found dead in San Francisco Bay, authorities said. The Coast Guard found his body Aug. 26 near the Marin County shoreline, hours after he was seen walking toward the Golden Gate Bridge. Coroner investigators determined that Raymond killed himself. Raymond, 47, opened his first Victoria’s Secret 16 years ago. He sold the company for about $1 million in 1982.
