1 Stabbed in Bar Fight in La Habra

LA HABRA — A man was stabbed and critically injured and another man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder early Sunday after a fight apparently over a seat at a Whittier Boulevard bar.
The victim, Jaison Enriquez, 24, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange suffering from several stab wounds after the 1:45 a.m. fight at the Casbah Bar at 632 E. Whittier Blvd., said Sgt. Perry Miller of the La Habra Police Department. Enriquez remained in critical condition late Sunday.
Ralph John Padilla, 29, of Buena Park was arrested after he was chased down the street by several bar patrons, who detained him near the corner of Cypress and Whittier boulevards until police arrived, Miller said.
Padilla was being held in lieu of $250,000 bond, Miller said.
