BREA : Another Town Hall Meeting Set Tonight
- Share via
City Council members are encouraging residents to attend a Town Hall meeting tonight to talk and ask questions about the problems they see facing their neighborhoods and the community.
Topics discussed at previous Town Hall meetings have included cable television rates and service, city and state budget problems, gangs, graffiti, land use and recreation. Most residents ask questions about their own neighborhoods’ problems with blight, stop signs, trash pickups or similar concerns, city officials said.
If questions cannot be answered at the meeting, Cindie Ryan, manager of communications and marketing said, staff members are directed to answer them within 24 hours.
The meeting is the fifth in a series of six. It will be held at 7 p.m. at Olita Elementary School, 109 Lilac Lane.
The last Town Hall meeting is scheduled for Oct. 27 at the Brea Glenbrook Homeowners Assn. recreation facility.
