Coming Soon: Mossimo Giannulli, founder of Irvine-based Mossimo Inc., is opening a free-standing men’s and women’s sportswear boutique at South Coast Plaza in late November.
Giannulli described South Coast as “the top shopping center in the United States.” He already operates an in-store boutique in the Bullock’s Men’s Store in South Coast and a major department store in San Francisco.
Giannulli earlier said he wanted to open a small string of stores that would cater to men and women. The designer has moved from volleyball shorts to a growing line that includes accessories, glasses, swimsuits, footwear and bodywear.
