Oak Park 25, St. Bonaventure 2--Junior quarterback Ron Allen completed all nine of his passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns for the Eagles in the Tri-Valley League game at Ventura High.
Allen’s 18-yard pass to Mark Schwanauer with 13 seconds remaining in the first quarter gave Oak Park (4-3-1, 2-1) a 6-0 lead, and his nine-yard toss to Andrew Ewald with 33 seconds left in the second quarter made it 12-0. Ewald’s touchdown capped a 12-play, 79-yard drive.
Oak Park tailback Ryan Johnson rushed for 101 yards in 12 carries before suffering an ankle injury in the third quarter.
His nine-yard touchdown run gave the Eagles an 18-0 lead early in the third quarter.
Ryan Garth added a one-yard scoring run for the Eagles.
St. Bonaventure (2-6, 1-2) was held to 138 yards.
