BankAmerica Selling Real Estate Assets: BankAmerica Corp. said it agreed to sell $340 million in bad commercial real estate loans to Whitehall Street Real Estate Limited Partnership III by year’s end. The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, follows a $1.6-billion bulk sale of real estate by the Bank of America parent earlier this year. BankAmerica said it expects to realize an unspecified gain from the sale. Half of the loans are in California. The rest are spread throughout the United States.
