Palmdale 42, Highland 14--Rocque Sandoval passed for five touchdowns at Highland to propel Palmdale (4-6, 3-2) into the playoffs.

Sandoval completed 14 of 20 passes for 373 yards and rushed for 86 yards in 13 carries in three quarters of play. Three of the touchdown passes went to Tony Coleman, who had five catches for 162 yards.

Highland (0-9-1, 0-7) led, 8-6, in the first quarter on a 72-yard pass play from Jason Carr to Robert Anamizu and a conversion pass from Carr to Kevin Bice. The Bulldogs tied the score, 14-14, early in the second quarter when Anamizu picked up a teammate’s fumble and raced 56 yards to score.
