Irvine 35, Chaminade 16--Chaminade (5-6) trailed, 28-0, before scoring with 25 seconds left in the third quarter on a 29-yard pass from Clint Tanner to Adam Crecion at Irvine.
Tanner scored on a quarterback keeper from nine yards midway through the final quarter.
DIVISION VII
Montclair Prep 49, La Habra 14--Wilbert Smith rushed for 184 yards in 17 carries and scored four touchdowns to lead Montclair Prep (10-0) at La Habra. The Mounties will play La Palma Kennedy next week.
The Mounties added touchdowns on a two-yard run by Akil Anderson and a five-yard run by Steven Sydnor.
