‘Bad Girls’--and Boys

In her Film Clips piece on Albert Ruddy (Nov. 21), Judy Brennan describes the upcoming “Bad Girls” as an “all-female Western.”
True, the film stars Madeleine Stowe, Mary Stuart Masterson, Drew Barrymore and Andie MacDowell, and true, women provided insight and input and muscle to this production in happily greater numbers than usual, from producer Lynda Obst down through the wranglers and drivers.
But just for accuracy’s sake, among the other “females” in this “all-female Western” are Dermot Mulroney, James Russo, James LeGros, Robert Loggia, Nick Chinlund, Alex Kubik, Neil Summers, Danny O’Haco and myself. No political statement intended, just a point of fact.
