The Los Angeles Conservancy will hold a seminar on opening historic homes for film location shooting on Jan. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
Topics to be covered include: “How much money should I ask for? What about my neighbors? What is a ‘code of conduct’? What about all the horror stories I’ve heard? Can I keep any of the set props? Do I get to eat with the stars?” Handouts will include sample location contracts and certificates of insurance.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, space permitting. Special $3.30 parking will be available at the Pershing Square Garage.
Information: (213) 623-2489.
