News, Tips & Bargains : Idyll Untours Has Brochure for ’94
- Share via
Idyll Untours, which arranges three-week apartment stays in Europe for Americans, has come out with its 1994 brochure featuring a new Dutch Untour with an optional week in Brussels.
Idyll has about 200 apartments in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland, and Prague, Budapest and Vienna. Travelers are met at the airport, delivered to their dwellings, briefed on train and bus schedules and provided with maps and rail passes.
Untour prices, which include round-trip air fare, vary according to season and the number in the party. For example, the cost of the Classic Austrian Untour ranges from $1,461 per person for a party of six traveling in shoulder seasons to $1,958 per person for a party of two traveling in peak summer months. However, Hal Taussig, founder of Idyll, says prices dropped this year, partly because of unfavorable 1993 currency rates.
To obtain a copy of the brochure, contact Idyll, P.O. Box 405, Media, Pa. 19063, or call (215) 565-5242.
