Jeremiah Ross, a 6-5, 285-pound first-team all-county lineman from Rancho Alamitos, made an oral commitment to Fresno State and wide receivers Geoff Noisy of Irvine High and Matt Denny of Mission Viejo have committed to Nevada.
“I’ll get a chance to contribute as a freshman,” said Ross, a senior, who recently visited Utah State.
Noisy, who also played defensive back, confirmed his choice after visiting the Reno campus on his only recruiting trip, Irvine Coach Terry Henigan said.
Noisy was a Times second-team all-county selection and first-team All-Sea View League pick this season. He helped the Vaqueros to the Division IV championship, their third section title in a row.
