Bill Unpaid, Russian Navy Loses Power

MOSCOW — Not even the Russian navy can get away with unpaid electric bills.
Energy officials cut power to the headquarters of Russia’s Baltic Fleet in the Kaliningrad region last week after the Defense Ministry failed to pay a $320,000 electric bill, the ITAR-Tass news agency said Friday.
Full power was restored Friday after the Defense Ministry paid the Yantarenergo Power Company.
