ANAHEIM — Odetics Inc., a Anaheim maker of robotic computer-tape storage systems said Monday that it has received a $9.6-million subcontract for flight data recorders for the Landsat-7 spacecraft.
Under the contract with Landsat maker Martin Marietta Corp., Odetics will provide three space-data recorders by mid 1996. The recorders will store information when data links are unable to communicate directly with ground stations.
Landsat-7, jointly funded by the Department of Defense and NASA, collects information about the earth from space.
