MANHATTAN BEACH : City Boosts Reward in Case of Slain Officer
- Share via
City officials do not want the public to forget slain Manhattan Beach Police Officer Martin Ganz.
The City Council this week boosted the reward to $250,000 for information leading to his killer’s arrest. The reward had stood at $100,000, and it will revert to that amount March 1, city officials said.
Ganz was killed Dec. 27 during a traffic stop in Manhattan Beach.
Officials say it is unlikely that the gunman who killed two Palos Verdes Estates police officers this week also killed Ganz, despite early speculation that the two slayings were linked.
Anyone with information about the slaying is asked to call the Manhattan Beach Police Department at (310) 545-5621.
