Regarding “Poolside in Palm Springs” (Jan. 30):
Those of us who reside in the beautiful desert love it all and welcome guests to show off the loveliness of it all. Although your article was interesting, it catered to the jet-set crowd, those who can well afford room rates of astronomical numbers.
Why not have a follow-up story that shows where the average traveler can go and still have money left over for dining out? Please understand that I’m not taking away anything from the places named in your article. It’s just, who can afford them?
