Wedgewood’s Action Was First Class
* I would like to commend the Wedgewood Retirement Hotel in Tarzana for its quick action after the Jan. 17 earthquake.
Even though there was no major structural damage to the facilities, the residents were transported by limos to the Hyatt Hotel in Westlake. They lived there for the week and were treated with kindness. Then, since the hotel was booked for the next week, the residents were moved to the Century Plaza Hotel.
My mother is one of the residents of the Wedgewood, and I must say this is certainly a first-class operation.
