Woman Is Stoned to Death in Iran

TEHRAN — An Iranian woman convicted of adultery was stoned to death in the holy Muslim city of Qom, a daily newspaper reported.
The woman, who was married and had children, “had illegitimate relations with others and worked with a corruption gang,” Resalat newspaper said Wednesday.
She was stoned to death, the paper said. It did not give her name or the date of her execution.
