HUNTINGTON PARK : Spring Will Be in the Air at Street Fair

The city will salute spring this weekend with Carnaval Primavera, a three-day street fair featuring food, entertainment and carnival rides.
The event, which begins Friday, will run along Pacific Boulevard from Gage to Slauson avenues. The fair will include arts and crafts booths, international foods and diversions, organizers said.
Clowns, mimes and magicians will provide entertainment for young fair visitors. Two stages will be set up for music and dance performances.
Clarendon, Randolph and Belgrave avenues will be closed during the event.
Carnival hours are 2 to 10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
