SYLMAR : College Workshop on Job Hunting Planned

Mission College’s Community Extension Program will provide a workshop Saturday on “How to Get the Job You Want.”
Career counselor Geri Shapiro will explain both traditional and unusual approaches to looking for a job. Networking, interview techniques, and writing resumes and cover letters are among the topics of discussion.
Enrollment costs $29 and can be done by phone or in person Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Community Extension Program office in Veterans Memorial Park, 13000 Sayre St., Sylmar. Phone is (818) 364-7387.
