Israeli Traffic Cops to Start Taking Credit Cards

JERUSALEM — Israeli traffic offenders can drop any notion of offering cash to cops--police are to take credit cards only.
On Tuesday, the Transport Ministry announced plans to introduce spot fines on Israeli roads for minor traffic offenses, which it did not define.
It said motorists will be able to pay by credit card. Patrol cars will be equipped with the appropriate card machines and receipts.
