Klinsmann’s Two Goals Send Germany Past Italy

Jurgen Klinsmann scored twice to send defending World Cup champion Germany past Italy, 2-1, at Stuttgart on Wednesday night in one of the major exhibition games before this summer’s tournament in the United States.
The victory was only the sixth for Germany in 24 games against Italy, with seven ties.
Dino Baggio put Italy ahead in the final minute of the first half, but Klinsmann tied the score before the half ended and put Germany ahead two minutes into the second half.
