BEVERLY HILLS : Planning Commission Head Named
- Share via
The Beverly Hills Planning Commission has elected member Hamid Gabbay as its chairman.
Gabbay, an architect, replaces Paul Selwyn, who in April must step down after completing his second four-year term, the maximum allowed by the city.
A 15-year resident who lives in the city’s Hillside District, Gabbay was appointed to the commission in 1992. He will be chairman for one year. He previously served on the now-defunct R-1 Commission, which had reviewed applications for single-family homes. Those duties were transferred to the Planning Commission in December, 1992.
