Mother Goes Shopping, 3 Children Die in Fire

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Three young children between the ages of 2 and 6 died in an apartment fire after their mother left them alone to go grocery shopping, police said.
The Thursday night blaze apparently started near the kitchen or living room.
