DANA POINT : Speakers to Address Crime Watch Group

Neighborhood Watch block captains and anyone else interested in joining the crime prevention program will meet tonight at 7.
Two speakers with backgrounds in home security and emergency police response will address participants in the quarterly program at City Hall, 33282 Golden Lantern.
The meetings keep residents current on crime issues in the city and provide a way for people involved in the program throughout the city to get acquainted.
Featured speakers will be Randy Hughes, general manager of Westec Security, and a 911 dispatcher from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The dispatcher will talk about how emergency calls are handled and what the public can do to help shorten response times.
