Body of Man Is Discovered in El Rio House

The body of an unidentified man was discovered in a house on Simon Way in El Rio on Thursday night, authorities said.
Three men discovered the man’s body when they went to the house on the 800 block of Simon Way about 6 p.m. to feed the dogs there, according to Sheriff’s Lt. Craig Husband.
“We believe that the condition of the body would indicate that a homicide has been committed,” Husband said.
Husband declined to provide any further details about the condition of the body, and said there was no indication of how the man had been killed or how long he had been dead.
