Live Entertainment Posts $2.84-Million Loss

Live Entertainment Inc., a Van Nuys videocassette distributor and retailer, reported a $2.84-million first-quarter loss due to lower sales and higher interest charges.
A year earlier, the company lost $728,000. Its sales in the latest quarter that ended March 31 totaled $18.3 million, down 38% from $29.5 million in sales in the first quarter of 1993.
