‘Straight Shooter’ Gets Medal for Honesty

Having commented acidly about the gun control claims The Times has so assiduously propagated, I feel obligated to congratulate you and Paul Dean for “The Straight Shooter” (May 18). It was a real pleasure to read unbiased articles for a change!
How about continuing the “When the Smoke Clears” part for a few weeks? There is a lot of smoke that could well be cleared up.
