Residents in a neighborhood north of Oxnard were awakened early Saturday morning by a man covered with blood knocking on their doors, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.
Highway Patrol officers and Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene about 4 a.m. and found Richard Allen Glass, 30, of Oxnard stumbling down Will Avenue with severe cuts to his head and face, the spokeswoman said.
Glass had been driving east on Simon Way when he veered his vehicle into a parked car, according to authorities.
He was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released, a spokeswoman said.
