U.S. Investment in Vietnam Soars to $78 Million: The United States has climbed six notches on Vietnam’s foreign investment chart in the past month and the amount invested has nearly quadrupled to $78 million, according to official figures released Friday. U.S. companies now have 11 projects licensed in Vietnam, compared with four projects with capital of $20 million on May 3, the State Committee for Cooperation and Investment said.
