Three County Surfers Win Heats at Oceanside

Chris Ward of San Clemente won his heat Wednesday in the Body Glove at Oceanside event on the Bud Surf Tour.
County residents Billy Oswald (Huntington Beach) and Benji Siverson (San Clemente) also finished first in their heats. Preliminary competition continues today at 7 a.m. with Round 1 of the main event scheduled to start about noon.
The five-day event ends Sunday.
