Temple Isaiah of Newport Beach announced that Cantor Vladimir Shtayerman has joined the staff. He is from Moscow, where he attended the Moscow Academy of Jewish Arts. An accomplished concert soloist, he has given concerts in the Moscow Conservatory Hall, singing with the Georgian Philarmony.
He can be heard on Fridays at 8 p.m. during the services led by Rabbi Marc Rubenstein. The synagogue is at 2401 Irvine Ave. Information: (714) 548-6900.
