LEIMERT PARK : Dance Ensemble to Hold Auditions

The Jazzantiqua Dance Ensemble is holding auditions for apprentice dancers at the Dance Collective studio, 4327 Degnan Blvd., at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Dancers must be between 16 and 21, and those with a minimum of two years’ intensive training are encouraged to apply.
The audition is in the form of a jazz dance class.
The apprenticeship program is designed to prepare dancers to become full members of Jazzantiqua, a dance company that focuses on developing and performing concert jazz dance. The company collaborates on works with the Mark Shelby Jazz Quartet, an ensemble that frequently performs at nearby World Stage.
