UC Irvine Recruit Still Hospitalized

Basketball recruit Tchaka Shipp remained in critical but stable condition at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, UC Irvine Coach Rod Baker said Wednesday.
Shipp and Kevin Simmons, another Irvine recruit, were injured in a one-car crash near UCI early Tuesday morning. Simmons was released from the hospital Tuesday.
