Times Mirror Multimedia Names Chief Executive: Michael G. Rose has been appointed chief executive of Times Mirror Multimedia, the newly formed consumer multimedia software company of Los Angeles-based Times Mirror Co., parent company of the Los Angeles Times. Rose will report to Ann E. Dilworth, Times Mirror group vice president for new consumer media, and will be responsible for the development of CD-ROM products and electronic services, as well as for acquisitions and investments in consumer multimedia. Before the appointment, Rose, 34, was vice president for new business development at Times Mirror Cable Television.
