Neiland, Jones High on Money List

The Newport Beach Dukes’ Larisa Neiland and Kelly Jones finished second and third on the World TeamTennis’ year-end prize money list.
Neiland, the WTT female most valuable player and female rookie of the year, collected $36,470.44 in helping lead the Dukes to an undefeated regular season. Jones, the male MVP and men’s singles winner, earned $36,375.
Players earn a percentage of the $720,000 total prize money based on their season-long individual performances in singles and doubles events. The Dukes’ Zina Garrison Jackson earned $22,798.58 and was seventh on the money list, while Trevor Kronemann collected $20,375 and was 10th. New Jersey’s Martina Navratilova topped all player winnings for the fourth year in a row by earning $42,000.
Dukes Coach Angel Lopez tied New Jersey Coach Craig Kardon for first on the coaching money list with $9,500.
