The Los Angeles city branch library in Eagle Rock will close temporarily, starting today through Aug. 29, for repair of damage caused by the Jan. 17 Northridge earthquake. Library materials due during the period the facility is closed may be deposited in the branch library’s book drop or returned on Aug. 29 without incurring a late charge.
Materials also may be returned to any Los Angeles public library branch.
Patrons who need library services can visit other branches in the area, including Arroyo Seco at 6145 N. Figueroa St., Atwater Village at 3379 Glendale Blvd. and Cypress Park at 3320 Pepper Ave.
