A new Sonoma Valley Visitor Information Center will open Aug. 27 at the entrance to the Viansa Winery, 25200 Arnold Drive (Highway 121). The center, which will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will stock visitor guides, brochures, local wine publications and maps. It is in the Carneros wine region, a cool grape-growing region that spreads across the southern tips of Sonoma and Napa valleys.
