The Force Is With Police Psychologist

Your article “A Force of One” (July 18) is outstanding and true. Dr. Larry Blum is one police psychologist who definitely is a tremendous help to the thin blue line who serve and protect on a daily basis.
I have known Larry for 16 years and he has helped untold numbers of officers and, yes, one police chief--me--to return from the brink of disaster because of the lifestyle we adopt in this stressful profession.
Thanks for sharing Larry with your general readership--he is definitely one of our heroes.
