A Canoga Park woman was sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating a ban on convicted prostitutes engaging in conversation or soliciting motorists during nighttime hours in areas of the San Fernando Valley.
Peaches Wilson, 40, was taken into custody about 10:15 Sunday in Canoga Park after she approached and solicited an undercover police officer, according to City Atty. James Hahn’s office.
Prostitutes on probation are prohibited from talking to motorists, asking for or accepting rides and being in parked cars with motorists between 5 p.m. and 6 a.m. on certain segments of Sepulveda, Lankershim, Ventura and Reseda boulevards as well as Sherman Way, according to the city attorney’s office.
On Aug. 4, Wilson pleaded no contest to soliciting and was placed on three years probation.
