Nordhoff 48, Fillmore 15--Josh Hawkins rushed for 158 yards in 16 carries and had four touchdowns to lead the Rangers at home.
After returning the opening kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown, Hawkins scored on rushes of five and 14 yards. He closed the first half by stripping the ball from Felipe Ordaz at midfield on a punt return and racing 50 yards for a touchdown.
Ordaz, who had 37 yards rushing, ran for a 19-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Fillmore’s Gabriel Ocegueda rushed for 64 yards, including a one-yard touchdown.
Dallan Rigby added 82 yards rushing and a touchdown for Nordhoff, which rushed for 277 yards.
