Crescenta Valley 28, La Canada 0--Running back Chris Hedrick rushed for 76 yards in 19 carries and scored three first-half touchdowns to lead the Falcons at La Canada High.
Quarterback John Watts, who completed six of nine passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns, connected with Hedrick on a 74-yard touchdown pass one play after Danny Allen’s interception in the first quarter.
Hedrick followed with touchdown runs of eight yards and one yard in the second quarter to put the Falcons ahead, 21-0. Watts then passed to fullback Tim Condie for a six-yard touchdown moments before halftime to finish the scoring.
La Canada quarterback James Wolstenholme connected on 11 of 17 passes for 130 yards, but threw two interceptions.
