Susan Lawmaster to Join Vons as Senior Vice President

Susan Lawmaster will join the Vons Cos. as senior vice president of marketing, effective Oct. 10. In this new position, Lawmaster will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and advertising. She will report to Richard E. Goodspead, president and chief operating officer.
Lawmaster, 35, was previously vice president, western region sales for Catalina marketing Corp., which develops and manages electronic marketing programs for supermarket operators.
Arcadia-based Vons operates 335 supermarkets in Southern California and Clark County, Nev.
