SIMI VALLEY : Free Disposal of Heavy Trash Sunday

Simi Valley residents will be able to get rid of heavy trash such as appliances, asphalt, clean concrete and green waste during a free trash-disposal day Sunday.
Residents will be able to drop off items at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center at 2801 Madera Road from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Items must be in separate containers and covered so they do not spill.
Residents must prove that they are Simi Valley residents by bringing a driver’s license with a local address. They must also unload their own vehicles.
