Filenet Corp. Gets $4.8-Million German Order

COSTA MESA — Filenet Corp. said Monday that it has received a $4.8-million order, one of the largest in its 12-year history, from Gesellschaft fur Zahlungssysteme mbH, a credit-card processing firm in Frankfurt, Germany.
Gesellschaft processes credit card and check transactions in Europe. Filenet sells software to help companies process documents using computers.
Filenet will sell computer programs to the German company that are meant to help store records of checks. In the future, the Filenet programs would be used to help process credit card applications as well.
