SAN MARINO : Officers Plan Picket of City Hall Over Pay
- Share via
Members of the San Marino Police Officers Assn. were planning to picket City Hall this afternoon, demanding a 9% pay raise, the association’s spokesman said.
The force’s 26 sworn personnel have not had a raise in two years, said Sgt. Mark Harvey, adding that his police force is the lowest-paid force in the San Gabriel Valley.
The association was at an impasse with the city Sept. 15, Harvey said.
Assistant City Manager Debbie Bell said the city has offered a two-year package that includes a 7% pay increase and performance raises.
