WESTMINSTER : Man Killed in Traffic Collision

A 76-year-old man was killed when the car he was riding in collided with another at Bolsa Avenue and Hope Street, authorities said.
Two others were also injured, one critically.
John W. Childs of Westminster suffered massive chest and internal injuries when the car his wife was driving east on Bolsa turned onto Hope just before 3 p.m. Tuesday, and collided with another car. Childs was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Mary Childs, 60, the driver, was treated for neck and back injuries in the same hospital’s emergency room, and was later transferred to Kaiser Hospital in Anaheim, where she was reported in stable condition.
Wesley Johnson, 28, of Garden Grove, who was traveling west on Bolsa, sustained severe head injuries in the wreck and was reported in critical condition.
