Dana Hills 3, Fountain Valley 2--Jenny Kessy had 25 kills and seven blocks for Dana Hills (5-1) which won, 15-12, 12-15, 15-5, 12-15, 15-6. Kristen Moro had 29 kills for Fountain Valley (2-2).
Edison 3, Irvine 0--Kristin Clemens had 15 digs and Erin McCown had 14 kills for third-ranked Edison (5-0) in a 15-1, 15-4, 15-13 victory.
El Toro 3, Capistrano Valley 0--Cindy Wilson had eight aces for El Toro (3-2), which won, 15-2, 15-13, 15-4.
Esperanza 3, Foothill 0--Amy Nihipali had 13 kills to lead ninth-ranked Esperanza (2-2) to a 15-9, 15-5, 15-13 victory. Kami Kooi had nine kills for Foothill (1-3).
Huntington Beach 3, Corona del Mar 1--Melissa Wendt had 23 kills to lead host Huntington Beach (3-1), 15-11, 15-13, 14-16, 15-7.
Kennedy 3, Western 1--Leslie Prochaska had nine kills for Kennedy (6-0) in a 15-10, 15-11, 10-15, 15-6 victory.
La Verne Lutheran 3, Liberty Christian 1--Lynlee Vaccaro and Lisa Winters had 12 kills for Liberty Christian, which lost, 15-6, 6-15, 15-13, 16-14.
Marina 3, Long Beach Millikan 0--Marcy Crouch had 27 kills and Jill Waltemeyer added 15 for host Marina (5-1), which upset Millikan, the top-ranked team in Division II, 17-15, 15-6, 15-11.
Orange 3, Troy 1--Wendy Ames had 10 kills for host Orange (5-0), which won, 15-5, 15-17, 15-11, 15-4.
Orangewood Academy 3, Norwalk Baptist Christian 0--Amy Garnica had 10 kills for host Orangewood Academy (2-3) in its 15-1, 15-8, 15-0 victory.
Santa Ana Valley 3, Costa Mesa 2--Allison Napier had 14 kills for Santa Ana Valley (3-1), which rallied to win 11-15, 15-4, 13-15, 15-7, 15-9.
Sunny Hills 3, Los Alamitos 2--Amanda Johnson had 17 kills and Stacy Laitch added 14 for host Los Alamitos (1-3), which lost 15-13, 9-15, 13-15, 15-12, 15-11.
Valencia 3, Katella 0--Carrie Ritchey had 10 kills and seven aces for visiting Valencia (2-3) which won, 15-10, 15-8, 15-1.
Villa Park 3, Estancia 2--Meghan Reppe had 10 kills and four aces for host Villa Park (5-0), which won, 15-4, 16-14, 5-15, 8-15, 15-11. Cyndy Richards had 19 kills for Estancia (2-3).

Pacifica 3, Santiago 0--Cindy Vojtech had 14 kills for visiting Pacifica (4-2, 3-0), which won 15-4, 15-1, 15-4.
La Quinta 3, Garden Grove 2--Sama Danyal had 14 kills for visiting La Quinta (2-4, 1-2), which won, 15-13, 6-15, 15-5, 15-17, 15-9. Gina Huizar had 11 kills for Garden Grove (1-5, 1-2).
